Who we are.
The Daisy Edition is a small, woman-owned farm in Newport County, RI. We grow a diverse variety of specialty cut flowers and culinary herbs at Island Community Farm in Middletown, a project of Aquidneck Community Table. You can find our flowers through our CSA share, Farmer’s Market, or at one of our store partners. We host Pick Your Own days and Workshops on the farm during the summer. Join our mailing list to stay up to date on the schedule.

Heather Meehan, the founding farmer of The Daisy Edition, got her start at Quail Hill Farm in Amagansett NY, a 20 acre Pick-Your-Own CSA, in 2021. It was there she first fell in love with growing flowers, and she went on to hone her flower farming and floral design skills at Island Time Farm in Shelter Island, NY and as the former manager at Little State Flower Co. in Tiverton, RI. Heather’s favorite moments are early mornings spent harvesting dahlias and anytime one of her cats crawls into her lap.
Growing Practices
We use regenerative growing practices that include minimizing tillage and utilizing ground cover plants to sequester carbon and restore organic matter to the soil. Our farm provides a habitat for a multitude of pollinators and native bird species. We see ourselves as part of a resilient and localized economy where human beings work in concert with the world around us to restore health to our ecosystem.
